Service Description

The Student will leave understanding: -Safety concerns and practices while carrying concealed -Choosing a concealed carry firearm -Selecting concealed carry equipment for body type -Presentation of the firearm from a concealed carry posture -Defensive pistol marksmanship fundamentals -Close proximity shooting techniques for violent encounters -One-handed operation -Multiple shot techniques -Identification and utilization of cover -Overview of alternative carry techniques -Utilization of force in self-defense, both lethal and less lethal -Pistol inspection and maintenance Equipment: -Quality functional semi-automatic pistol in common caliber .380-.45ACP (Carry-sized recommended) (semi-auto center fire pistols only - revolvers or .22 caliber pistols are not allowed) 3, 15 round magazines (or equivalent) -Belt mounted, dominant side, outside the waistband holster -Belt mounted, dominant side concealment holster -Magazine pouches -Clothing suitable for training in any weather (pants must have belt loops) -Sturdy belt at least 1.5" wide -Concealment jacket or vest -Clothing layers typically worn in fall or winter -Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning -Hat with a brim -Hydration system -Sunscreen and bug spray -Wraparound eyewear with polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription -Electronic hearing protection, earmuffs or earplugs Ammo: 300 round Estimate
